The Deadliest Mass Shooting in United States History
In the early hours of Sunday morning, on the 12th of June, a lone gunman entered the nightclub Pulse in Orlando Florida and opened fire on innocent party-goers. The nightclub Pulse is considered to be the hottest gay club in the Orlando district, frequented by more than 300 people that night.
Shortly following the shooting, Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer declared a state of emergency for the city of Orlando and Governer Rick Scott extended it to all or Orange County.
Authorities have set up an information center at the Hampton Inn hotel for Orlando Victims and urge relatives to call (407) 246-4357.
It was the deadliest mass shooting in United States history. So far, 49 people have been pronounced dead and more than 53 additional people are injured. Some officials are reporting this attack is linked to Muslim Extremism because of the coincidence of Ramadan and the similarity between this and the Paris shooting.
Find it in your heart to help the victims and families, all proceeds will directly benefit those afflicted by this horrible and unimaginable disaster. Let’s all pray for Orlando today.
All donations go directly to the National Center for Victims of Crime 501(c)(4).
